Customizable trophy base with name plate

Version 2 Update – Stackable Trophy Base, 4-Sided Base & Improved Nameplate Geometry

This Version 2 update expands the trophy collection with a redesigned base system, improved nameplate fitment, and new options for recurring competitions.

The collection includes 7 unique trophy designs, now updated to support a clean, flush-mounted nameplate while keeping the original look and feel of the trophies intact.

The original trophy models were previously available on Thingiverse but have since been removed. To help keep them accessible, I’ve re-uploaded the trophies here so they can continue to be printed and used alongside the redesigned base system.

What’s New

Improved Nameplate Geometry

The updated nameplate is now slightly larger and angled, giving more room for text while still sitting neatly into the recessed slot on the base.

The nameplate supports up to three lines of customizable text in Bambu Studio. You can also use two lines or a single line depending on the layout, name length, or style you prefer.

For the best text detail, I recommend printing the nameplate with a 0.2 mm nozzle, especially for smaller lettering. A 0.4 mm nozzle still works well, as shown in the example images.

Please note: the original design used the Make My Sign tool to customize the nameplate. The updated nameplate geometry is larger and angled, so it is designed for the new base and will not fit the original base.

4-Sided Base

A new 4-sided base has been added, allowing up to four separate nameplates to be attached. This is ideal for competitions where you want to add new winners over time without printing a whole new trophy each time.

Stackable Base

A new stackable base option has also been included. This allows the trophy to grow over time, expanding from 4 winners to 8, 12, or even more if you’re brave enough to keep stacking them.

Flat-Top Base

An alternative base with a flat top is also included, making it easier to mount your own trophies or mix and match with other designs.

Quick Customization

The trophies and bases can be printed ahead of time and kept ready. Once a winner is decided, the nameplate can be printed separately in around 15 minutes, making it perfect for last-minute customization.

A small dab of glue is all that’s needed to secure the plate neatly into the recessed slot.

This setup makes the trophies practical, reusable, and easy to personalize — ideal for leagues, events, office competitions, gaming tournaments, family challenges, or recurring awards.
