IKEA Skadis Wall Mount
Print Profile(6)

Description
This streamlined mounting mechanism is perfectly suited for both the original IKEA Skadis boards and those crafted from DIY 3D-printed designs. It includes a 20mm version that seamlessly integrates with the original mounting system. This variant allows for either reinforcing the lower section of the board or completely substituting the standard mounts. Meanwhile, the 10mm version minimizes the board's footprint while still providing generous space at the rear for any accessories. After installation, the screw cap can be effortlessly attached to the countersink washer, concealing the screws for a clean finish. It is just pushed it place. Please allow the components to cool down on their own before detaching them from the build plate. Premature removal could result in deformation.
Updates
31.07.2024: I have added a variant for panhead style screws that accommodates all M4 panhead screws and some M5 screws. The screw head must be smaller than 9mm in diameter.
Installation
Use M4 screws (recommended 50mm+ for the 20mm standoff version; 40mm+ for the 10mm standoff version). Use proper wall anchors! Be careful not to overtighten the screws!
