Description
I made this Gun Stock to use with Clay Hunt VR. It was modeled from real shotgun dimensions and it works really well for me. I printed from PLA with 5 wall loops, 5 top layers, 5 bottom layers and 50% rectilinear infill for strength and weight. There are 20mm holes in the Forend, Stock and Barrels to insert extra weight.
You will also need.
2 M6x35 Cap head screws
2 M6x25 Cap head screws
2 M6x12 Pan head Screws
2 M5x20 Cap head screws
2 M5x25 Cap head screws
2 M6 Nuts
2 M6 Washers
2M5 Nuts
You will need to make 2 x 6mm threads in the controller holder this can be done with a 6mm Tap or by carefully screwing in a 6mm screw to form the threads. The same will need to be done with the one hole in the top of the front part and the one hole in the top of the centre part.
2x 5mm threads need to be made in the stock to attach the Butt Plate.
NB: The controller Holder is a re-model of a part from “meta quest 3 - Simple gun stock V1.1" by Strictsquid on thingiverse.
If you want to use a pistol grip type of controller holder I have re-modelled the center part to fit the Pistol Grip made by @spriggytech which is available on printables and it can be found here https://www.printables.com/model/640723-oculus-quest2-quest33s-controller-pistol-grips-wit
You can download the .stl “center part for pistol grip” in the download links above, print 5 wall loops, 5 top and bottom shell layers. 50% rectilinear infill. You will need 4 M5x30 Cap head screws to attach the pistol grip.
