0.08mm Layer height
3 Walls
8 Top and Bottom shell layers
45% infill
Fuzzy Skin with a modifier so it doesn't affect the outer thread → Contour with 0.3 point distance and 0.3 skin thickness

I used PETG for better impact resistance because old designs from PLA tended to split at the bottom

Great! Printed in different sized, in Silk PLA, when trying to use up all the remaing filament. Went well!

Solid little jars. I removed the fuzzy finish to speed up the print, and split the lids to a second plate for the color change. I also used scarf joint seams inside and out, which made thread engagement smoother than the last threaded parts I printed. If I scale up the jars and the lids the same percentage, will the threads engage properly? I think they will, but I'd rather save the time and filament if that's the wrong method to increase the jar size. Thanks!

it can work i never tested it tho the tolerances are quite small so it shouldnt be such a crazy problem

first print as is took foreeeever. second print was 200% tall and reverted to standard speeds, layer height, hatch infill at half the %. took half the time to print twice as tall and looked just as good. gave away first print before getting a pic, but I'm attaching the second for y'all to compare with pics from other reviews. BUT. This is a really cool secure container and I love the texture!
