Description

🇮🇳 Welcome to India!

The Taj Mahal, located on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra, was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

This impressive ivory-white marble mausoleum was designated in 1983 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for being “the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage(description by MiniWorld3D collaborator Angelo D'Angelo).

This model was created and updated by MiniWorld3D founder & lead 3D artist Dany Sánchez.

Printing Tips

Suggested parameters:

For better details, print slow, such as 20mm/s for outer perimeters.
Fine-tune retraction to avoid stringing.
Perimeters: 2
Top layers: 3
Infill: as low as 12%

No supports needed, this has been optimized to eliminate all overhangs.

Brim or raft not needed, but might help if you experience warping in sharp corners.

The carvings and details might only be noticeable if printed large or in resin.
