This is a model I designed to showcase the locking mechanism inside a bank vault door. Check out my Youtube video for more info and full assembly instructions.
Turned out great. Nice video tutorial. I do think a spring to add tension to the fence would be a nice improvement. But it went together well and is a neat educational desk piece. Thanks!
Hi @akshar727 . You’re right. I was having the same issue. But its more of a design ‘flaw’ rather than the print profile flaw. For this very reason, I’ve uploaded a remix of the plate with a working combination. Here is the link if you are interested.

I’ve tested this thoroughly several times to make sure its working smoothly as I often found that I had the give the arm a nudge for it to fall in with the original combination.
Lock tab is printing without supports so the bottom facing surface of the cylinder is coming very rough and needs some trimming. Only one peg is printed instead of two.
Other than this two hickups, the model looks very nice and functions well.
Pro-tip: no need to grease any parts. It will make things smoother but a lot harder to move. Don't ask me how I know.
No cleaning volumes are set in the print profiles, hence the white/black button. Unfortunately, support for the sealing mechanism was also forgotten to be switched on. It is best not to start via the app, but only via the PC.
came out great. every part was a friction fit except for the knob on the front. I’m planning on make a puzzle box at some point and would like to add a combination lock to it. this definitely helped me understand how it works.
Hi - great print and worked almost out of the box for a regular Bambu A1 in standard settings with 0.4mm nozzle.
However, mine is opening to the numbers 35, 9 and 43. Any chance we can get a plate with these numbers instead?
Yes, Mine is also opening with those numbers. When I very carefully use 37/10/45, it does NOT open. Also, the multiplier on the purge volumes, which is normally 1, is 0 in the print profile that you uploaded to Maker World. You should fix that and upload a corrected .3mf file. Also, it really needs a lever spring to keep the fence pressing on the wheels so it drops into the gates when they're aligned. Otherwise a little friction between the lever and the frame of the lock prevents it from dropping under it's own weight since it's made of plastic and isn't heavy enough to overcome the friction.
