Description

Ein Mudguard mit angepassten Maßen für verschiedene MTBs.

Derzeit stehen vier Varianten zur Auswahl: ohne Logo, mit Fox-Logo, mit (Propain) Rage-Logo und mit Fox- und Rage-Logo.

Zur Montage habe ich den Mudguard mit einem Föhn erwärmt und grob vorgeformt. Dann habe ich ihn locker an den Standrohren befestigt, nochmals erwärmt und nach und nach an das Casting der Gabel angepasst. Dabei habe ich die Kabelbinder immer wieder etwas nachgezogen, bis die finale Form erreicht wurde.

A mudguard with customized dimensions for different MTBs.

Currently, four variants are available: without logo, with Fox logo, with (Propain) Rage logo, and with both Fox and Rage logos.

For installation, I heated the mudguard with a hairdryer and roughly pre-shaped it. Then, I loosely attached it to the stanchions, reheated it, and gradually adjusted it to the fork casting. During this process, I continuously tightened the zip ties until the final shape was achieved.

Unfortunately when bending - although still hand-warm from the printer - it slightly cracked Absolutely heat with a hot air gun before bending!!! Printed with Elegoo PETG Rapid Black on the P1S (1.8mm Version)

Yes, you need to heat it gently with a heat gun from underneath, it is indicated in the instructions from the Designer. Good thing is, you can reprint a new one for cheap and retry 😉

Super Datei. Ich habe es in PETG gedruckt und die dicke auf 2mm reduziert. somit lässt es sich problemlos ohne erwärmen biegen.
