Description

This is a re-upload by the original creator. Any previous uploads of this design were done without permission. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Check out my Youtube video for detailed assembly instructions:

This coin-sorter is connected to a storage box with individual trays for each type of coin, all secured behind a vault door. Aside from 3d printed parts, you will need:

  • 5 bearings - 22mm outer diameter, 8mm inner diameter, 7mm high
  • 2 metal dowels 30mm long, 5mm diameter
    • Note: Dowels can also be 3D printed, if you prefer (Thanks Reee)

NOTE: This is for American currency only, but there have been many great adaptations to other currencies uploaded to Printables. Here are a few links:

Easy to print, fit together like a dream. Made it for my daughters birthday, she loved it, making another for myself and another family member.

There seems to be parts missing on this print. I can't find 3 gears 2 locking bolts and one hinge rod.

It's also missing 2 of the locking mechanisms on the door. Along with the other things you named.

The files are available in the 'Raw Models Files' and file names ending with "x#" should be printed multiple times (the number indicates the number needed to print). I'm guessing the print profile, which someone else uploaded, is incomplete. I don't have a Bambu printer, otherwise I would upload the print profile, also.

Going to be making all three. Can I use Model glue like with the Revel models or is JB weld better?

Most glues should work. I like JB weld because it gives you time to place it carefully before it sets, but I've used super glue, as well

Awesome thank you. I think I have some E6000, superglue and model glue at the moment. I'll see if my dad had any JB in his toolbox.

any chance of an AU version?

should be print easy to adjust yourself if you do not need more coin diameters. Just adjust the height of each opening. (I do that in tinkercad, which is pretty easy to use for such small modifications).

Bearing is 608, most common ones.
