Description

Very simple, fast, and cheap spool adapter/bushing for cardboard spools like Polymaker and Overture.

Print two, carefully slice off any seam on the inside edge, and clip onto the spools. This allows the cardboard spools to feed out with significantly less friction.

Efficient design with quick print time (17 minutes). However, incompatible with stock A1 top-mounted spool holder. When using a Polymaker cardboard spool, the adapter prevents the spool to go onto the spool holder, the filament tube and lining are in the way. Workaround possible by printing an additional spool holder for the opposite side. In summary: simple design, but unfortunately incompatible with stock A1 configuration.
