Modern Planter with Built-in Tray - Customizable

Model Overview

**This Design Offers Infill Patterns as an Accent Piece!

This model is composed of a modern square succulent pot in which rest on a concealed water drip tray. Surrounding these parts is a thin only 1.8mm thick accent frame in which has multiple designs so you can customize your pot the way you like it.

Overall, I created this design to be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle. This planter sits 2" tall (~50mm) and 2.75" wide (~70mm).

Assembly

Each frame section has a dovetail joint on each side, please pay attention to these when choosing a frame designs you want next to each other. These attach via superglue as they are thin parts that are intended to be supported by the drip tray at the bottom.

If using for live plants that need drainage, be sure to seal the drip tray at the bottom to ensure there are no leaks.

Once the frame is assembled, simply slide it over the pot with the drip tray underneath.

Customization

There are a handful of options when it comes to color customization of this model. Simply paint the model to your liking and use any of the provided frame designs based on your design approach. I would love to see what you come up with so please share your color/frame choices with me and others to give us ideas!

My main photo shows a printed model using Black and White Bambu PLA Matte for the pot and drip tray and Dark Brown Bambu PLA Matte for all frame pieces.
