Description

Introducing my 2nd Mini ITX Case, or as I like to call it….the K2 Case!

Fully re-designed version of my first Mini ITX Case found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/164209#profileId-180239

This 3D printed case brings new life to an old motherboard I had laying around and hopefully can do the same for you!

Important! Things such as tolerances are very tight, in order to piece together the case, without the need of extra hardware. Please be cautious of your supports as they need to be finely tuned to easily come out of the railings. I have perfected my supports for easy removal on my X1C, so you may want to cut a small part to test, before printing all components.

Please also understand, this is my first release of this version! So, if you have any issues at all or especially suggestions on how to improve this design, please reach out to me ASAP. Please do not just leave a negative rating/feedback if something goes wrong before chatting with me. I much appreciate it!

Features

  • Easy to print
  • Original design
  • No AMS required
  • Customize your colors and even the design as the main design comes from infill pattern!

I used Overture PETG for the entire case.

Some of the materials required for this build: (Links to the specific ones I used)

    6x2 Magnets
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KJ9H31P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

    16mm Power Button
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09W9J4QSL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Supports 120mm Case Fan (adapter coming later for 80mm support)

    Recommended:
  • Soft mallet hammer for helping with pushing pieces into railings due to tight tolerances(This is meant to stay together long-term/permanently)
  • Deburring Tool to quickly and neatly remove any brims.

The case is designed for use with an external power supply brick (DC Plug) or something such as a Pico Power Supply.

Suggestions and feedback are always welcome! I am new to the 3D Design world and always learning new best practices in design and always open to criticism to improve my designs.

Wanna buy me a coffee to help fuel my teaching days and help me pop out new designs?

Much appreciated for any and all support!
