Works for boxes in landscape. For thicker boxes the vertical arms seem unnecessary. For large boxes in portrait the center of gravity causes it to fall over. If you stick a heavier item between the puzzle box (such as a cell phone or book) and stand it can prevent the stand from tipping over.

My wife loves jig saws. The stand that usually comes with them is a folded piece of card that keeps falling over. She did not see the value of a 3D printer till I printed ths for her to use for her jigsaws. Keeps the box in place securely. I have made one longer as she has some jigsaws that are vertically oriented.
