Description

I designed this balancing toy based on a similar toy eagle I had as a kid. It can balance on any surface that has a little bit of grip, even on cables and string.

The toy works by ensuring that the center of gravity is kept beneath the pivot point. To make it more stable, you can add layers of black electrical tape to the bottoms of the wings, or even add a coin or washer for more weight.

The model is printed flat. The wings need to be bent downwards after printing for it to be able to balance. As usual, the step files are provided in case you want to improve my design.

Check out my profile for the lantern that the bat is balancing on in the last photo.

Happy printing.
