Description

This rugged box can be locked with the use of the tumbler key. Quarter turn to the right unlocks and key cannot be removed until in the locked position.

The latch fits tight and needs a bit of force to get in. After latch is seated glue the latch cover on in its slot.

I used 5mm dowel rods for the hinge. Cut to 29mm long. I picked up a multi size pack from my local Dollar store in their craft section

Great model, printed perfectly, made some changes because niece and nephew wanted a piggy bank. Also didn't have any dowel rods for hinge so i made them And they fit perfectly. Overall great print, thank you.

it was good but I was thinking if u could add the piece that ataches the top to the bottom because I couldn’t get those

the lock did not work you could force it open with little effort

Yes, as a box it's quite good, but the lock opens very easily, for example if the box is dropped. I don't think any real security is needed, but just more stable locking.
