Description

Fully printable Knurled M6 Screws

These models are optimized for FDM 3D printing and should fit without the need for rescaling.

No supports needed if you print them standing.

They are still compatible with standard metal nuts.

For better strength, try printing them with a few more wall lines.

Smaller layer heights result in better threads.

It's possible the material (PETG) is bad, as I've had multiple failures with a high probability. I made both M6 and M8, and they both ended up in the same state. The parts that were successfully completed turned out satisfactorily.

Disregarding design tolerances, they fit together perfectly with slight pressure

Printed 30 grams of ABS worth of screws and nuts and they all came out great. I like that they are knurled specifically because I don't like using hand tools on plastic screws.
