Description

How many Benchy models do you have? Do you need to organise them?

Great!

Print the holder, put your Benchy in it. It'll fall over. Print the base. Clip it in. Job done.

More than one Benchy? Print another holder and base. Print the joint and connect them together.

Want to stack them higher? Print the top joint and stack them up.

Bored with just a straight line or flat display? Print some 15 or 30 degree joints and mix it up with some curves. Make a half cylinder or a full cylinder. Have some fun!

The ‘Offset’ configuration allows you to offset the rows by half a module so that you can squeeze a Benchy in the middle on the second row instead of having to skip a row. This only works for the 30 degree joints.

Tips:

The joints are best printed single skinned in vase mode, which is great if you have the time. The print profile prints single walls but ‘per layer’ to the end result might not be quite as good. This does allow you to print all the joints you need all in one go.

For extra strength when assembling, print a half height joint, put it on the end, then for the next row add a full height joint to straddle the gap between layers. The top joints don't offer much friction and are intended as guides.

Benchys can fit in the holder both ways, however it's intended that they are horizontal when pushed in correctly.
