Conic sections - MATH VISUALIZED
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is the matemathical 3d demonstration of the creation of the conic sections (circle, ellipse, parabola and hyperbola). A conic section or a quadratic curve is a curve obtained from a cone's surface intersecting a plane.
By printing this model (requires two separate prints or a scale down), a teacher can “visualize” the theorem in 3d and make it more undertandable for the class.
Assembly:
This model is “Print in place”, so it's already usable when printed, however there are some circular holes inside the model to glue 5mm in diameter, 2mm in height, magnets (12 of them). With those magnets the pieces will stay in place.
