Spam Musubi Master

Description
Here’s my take on a spam musubi maker. All edges are rounded including bottom and top.
Musubi Assembly:
- Line container with plastic food wrap (the food wrap is essential to get a nice final product and prevents any need for food to touch the printed mould.
- Insert strip of seaweed (nori). 1-2” x 6”. Seaweed strip should align with the two openings of the container and stick out.
- Insert slice of grilled or bbq’d spam (a little teriyaki glaze on the spam works well).
- Insert rice to approximately 3/4 full on top of the spam
- Wrap the nori strip over the rice and fold one side of the food wrap over it.
- Compress firmly with the lid
- Pull out contents using the plastic food wrap and finish wrapping tightly. The musubi needs to set for a few minutes before unwrapping to eat or can be left wrapped for later.
Note for Spam cutting:
I designed this to get 10 musubis using 1 can of spam. It is important to slice your spam following these steps. Lying the spam on its side on the cutting board, cut it into 2 equal pieces. Turn each of the pieces 90° and cut into 5 equal slices (if you like the spam thicker cut it into 4 pieces). Cutting it this way will make it perfect to fit this musubi maker. See picture of cutting guide.
