Description

Brick Man Toilet Paper/Roll Holder

I searched high and low for a ready-made file suitable for A1 mini with no success. Here I've combined the best-of-the-best with attribution below for each of the parts and set up on the A1 mini build plate including my own remixed head, and remixed large roll pole.

I printed everything in PETG, but will also print fine in PLA.

Included parts:

  • Brick Man Head (Remixed by me to hollow out and improve print time) - recommended to print using supports for best quality, should be glued/double sided taped to the body
  • Brick Man Face Inlay (by vvk187)
  • Brick Man Body (by vvk187)
  • Brick Man Legs (by vvk187)
  • Brick Man Hands (by vvk187), but these are adjustable for smaller and larger width toilet rolls - in the UK ours are wider than Europe for example).
  • Small Toilet Roll Pole (by vvk187) - no supports needed, but brim recommended
  • Large Toiler Roll Pole (remixed by me for rounded bolt heads) - supports needed on A1 mini build plate for the pole.
  • Wall mount (by Crestw00d) - supports drawn, set to manual and snug

This is really cool and fun although it doesn’t work very well with Costco’s Kirkland toilet paper as it’s too wide and is snugged in between the Lego man’s arms making hard to use, otherwise this is really creative and worth printing!

I am in the same boat, did you find a version that holds Costco rolls?

Very easy to print. Printed with PLA with 0.28mm height with no problem (if you use this layer height you'd need to use variable layer height in the last layers to avoid ugly top layers, but you'll save much print time)

Made one with cap, as a present, for my favorite skate shop, Bonk in the Netherlands. I added the shop logo and Carhartt logo's on the sweater and cap and gave the man Vans shoes. Printed in PETG HF, 0.16mm layer, 3 layers, 25% infill and variable layer height.

Top print, I reversed the orientation of the parts and increased the spindle size so all roll sizes fit through without getting stuck
