Crochet/ Knitted Chicken

A simple chicken with a crochet / knitted look!

The photos show the model at its default scale with a height of 80mm. The crochet pattern is likely to not show well if it is scaled down smaller than this, however I haven't tested it. You may want to experiment with a smaller scale and layer height.

Print Guide:

Prints in one piece and can be painted either by hand or in the slicer if you have an AMS. 

The multi-colour version has 5 colours so there are two approaches you can take:

1. Change the cheek colour (pink) to match the body (brown) and have the cheeks be the same colour as the body. You can either leave it like this or manually paint them.
2. It is possible to change out rolls in the AMS if they aren't being used anymore. Therefore I would set the colour of the comb (red part) to yellow and once the beak has finished printing, swap out the yellow roll for a red roll of filament.

Walls/Perimeters: Any. Purely decorative so doesn't need any strength.

Infill: Any. Same as above.

Supports: None

Layer Height: ≤ 0.2mm. Model was printed at 0.2mm layer height. A smaller layer height would give more detail

Material: Any. PLA used here but any can be used
