Description

Update 27/01/2024:

My last set of models for a while - some straight stackable ramps:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/158553

These can be printed instead of the original ‘curved’ ramps if you want your ramps to stack

Update 26/01/2024:

After extensive play testing, my son dropped a few suggestions into the suggestion box for me. I've added some new parts to the ‘starter pack’.

  1. A ‘bumpy road’ piece which either sits on the ground, or across two support pieces. This is now found on plate 8.
  2. A ‘pin’ (m) version of the straight stackable ramp. The original only had a socket. Plate 6 used to have two ramps with sockets, now it has one with a pin and one with a socket
  3. A ‘joiner’ piece which is only 10mm high but is stackable. This piece can be used to put other blocks at a custom height, or to help lock everything in place for kids who want a ‘gap’ to jump but don't want the ramps sliding around. I've put two on plate 9.

Check out the last few photos for examples.

Update 16/01/2024: New parts available:

Crushed Cars - https://makerworld.com/en/models/141716

Shipping Container Backflip Ramp - https://makerworld.com/en/models/141874

Oil Drums to Smash - https://makerworld.com/en/models/141931

These are on their own pages so I can attribute models I've ‘remixed’ correctly.

Your little one (or you, I won't judge) can now build their own Hot Wheels Monster Truck Stadium!

Simple model but a lot of fun for little hands. The pieces interlock loosely and in may combinations for hours of fun!

I printed in PLA

3 layers top bottom and side

15% Rectilinear infill (it seems to give a nice smooth finish on the ramps)

The square support with holes can be printed with lightning infill to save a lot of time and filament, as the through holes give the top plenty of support, but I recommend at least 4 bottom layers if you choose to do this.

excellent! my kids (and I) have tons of fun playing with this model. I was able to combine plates 6&7 for faster printing- The flat top did print with poor surface quality for me but that was likely a printer error as I printer part of that plate on ludicrous mode. I slowed the print back down but it was unable to recover before it finished. The rest was flawless and I’d love to see some further parts designed for this system.

I’d recommend printing first plate 2 (standard ramps), then plate 3 (curved ramps) so you can play with them while the rest prints.

I’m glad you are enjoying it! I was thinking the other day it would be nice to add some more pieces. Maybe a ‘backflip wall’ and a couple different alternatives for the flat top. If you have any requests I’m happy to consider making them, or feel free to remix yourself :-)

Replying to @DrKriegerAUS :
they are awesome! I have little talent for modeling but I could give it a go! Fusion isn’t great for modifying STLs. A backflip ramp would be awesome!Maybe a replacement flat top with some embedded old cars? we just went to a monster jam show yesterday and I’m trying to think if there was anything there…

I printed almost all the parts for this. My oldest loves them. He uses all the parts and wants more. Thank you for these.

My nephew is going to love his new monster truck stunt park! And hey, if he happens to be too busy, I'll gladly take the reins and have a blast with it myself! 😄

Glad you like it. I thought 3 walls was overkill too, until my son started using them as stepping stones :-P
