Description

I always have bad feelings when I print overnight. That's why I designed a holder for a smoke detector from ABUS: ABUS RMW150

The smoke detector hangs directly above the print bed, so it can react very quickly in case of firer.

Assembly:

Put the “holder.stl” and “base.stl” together
Cut the included screws in a lenght of approx. 6-6,5 mm
Mount the ABUS holder on your printed part
Mount the smoke detector on the holder
Simply clip the holder on the aluminium frame of your A1
FINISH :-)

Great design, I remixed it because I couldn't find the same model smoke alarm. It makes me more comfortable printing over night. It's not perfect, my first attempting designing or re-designing an accessories.

My family and I had a house fire in January 2024. This is such an amazing idea. I haven't printed it yet, but boosted due to the peace of mind this will give my wife once our home is reconstructed.

First of all, thank you for sharing this brilliant idea. The print turned out perfectly and everything fits wonderfully. I used the ABUS RWM90, which is identical to the RWM150, but the battery is replaceable. Thank you that our house is now more secure and we can print overnight with peace of mind. Boost left there. :)
