AMS Side Handles

Side Handles for the AMS unit.

• Easier to carry the AMS unit without digging fingers under the plastic ledge.
• Move the AMS unit off the printer with ease for the maintenance.
• Print in PLA, no support needed.

Thank you for the feedback, I found out there are different revision of the AMS; either new or old - one has 5 sections and 3 sections. I will add a new model soon for the 5 sections. Your feedback is critical since there is no way for me to acquired different AMS models.

Release 1.1 for 3 Sections

• 1.1 model is to accommodate two versions of the 3 sections AMS. If the original 1.0 works for you, there is no need to reprint. Again, thank you for the feedback. Please let me know if there are any issues.
• Long inner channel is tapered 1 degree, if the handle is loose - you can add masking tape or electrical tape in the channel to add thickness.

Beta 1.0 for 5 Sections

• 5 Section version is in Beta 1.0, please try to print one handle for test fit first.

AMS Versions

The newer model of the AMS will have 3 sections and the older model has the 5 sections. Please download the correct print profile.

Installation

• Please make sure both handles are snugly fit into the AMS plastic ledge.
• If not fit in properly, it will have an uneven surface.

Feedbacks

Please provide feedbacks if there are fitting issues; I will revise the model if any. Please also note that untuned filaments may cause fitting issues. Model in photo is printed with Bambu PLA Basic.
