Description

Leinich3D vacuum hose power cord cable clip - A simple cable clip to temporary attach the power cord to the vacuum hose.

Details:

Based on my initial design from 2017 I made serveral updates along the way, which I'm now releasing.

The intend is, to hold the power cord of power tool on the vacuum hose to prevent the cord getting tangled around the hose.

The print profile contains several vacuum hoses diameters, to support any kind of vaccuum like Festool, Makita, Bosch, Einhell, Parkside, Dewalt or any other industrial vaccum cleaner.
Cable Clip v5 is designed to fit on smooth vaccum hoses like the Festool AS/CTR.

Print profile:

0.24mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill, no support, no brim
I suggest to use PETG, but ABS also worked for me.

The printed designation indicates the outer diameter of the vacuum cleaner hose
D35 ≙ 35mm vacuum hose outer diameter.

Just messure the correct outer diameter of your vacuum hose and select the correct buildplate for printing.

Please note:
The cable thickness can vary depending on the country and manufacturer. The "Cable Clip" is therefore available in two versions (7.5mm & 7.8mm). For devices with smaller cable diameters, the cable may have play in the holder. In most cases this is not a problem. If the cable has too much play and falls out, the diameter can be reduced with adhesive tape to get a better hold.
I recommend to try the 7.8mm version first.

Tip:
Overbending the cable clip can cause the clip to break. Please use the correct clips for the appropriate hose and do not use too much force when attaching them.

If you have any and idea for improvements, please feel free to drop me a note.
