Description

A remix of "12 mm rc car ski, traxxas slash" by Teambaileybuilds. I added larger blades to the bottom to get more grip in the snow. These skis will fit on your RC car with a 12mm hex (Traxxas- Slash, Rustler, Bandit, Stampede).

didn't seem to fit on 4x4 vxl stampede, installed them backwards but definitely a bit too short

ohh no you can use them on 4x4 vehicles...only 2wd

Worked great on hard packed snow. Honestly the skis worked fine on soft fluffy snow, just couldn't get traction. Traxxas Stampede.

Printed them sideways so the layer lines run along the ski, Should improve strength but ill find out haha

these are good, however the top part snapped at high speed when the ski dug into the snow. Printed with PETG

Support Issue:Some of the tree supports came off the bed mid-print, causing this. no big deal but i think standard support would work better.

It is possible for you to make it for 14mm hex?

I posted a 14mm to 12mm adapter and a mounting point mockup for the skis to test the fit. I tried putting a 14mm hex on the original model, but I don't have the CAD capabilities to do so.
