Nice models, I like them! I just want to say that one of them has a problem, as someone else reported before me. It's the one with a single thread. For me it's not about stringing but about layer shifts or whatever is this. It's not the model in itself but it can't be printed because after a while (after mid print) these threads are flimsy and nothing to grab on (like a support) and vibrate a lot. I've set my printer speeds from 30 to 90 max, which is very low for a Bambu printer, and those threads still vibrate mid air a lot (since no supports) and because of that I get something like this.
I've seen you made 2 more collections, with all of them with connected threads. Looking forward to print some of the others in the next month (our Easter not soon) and I will report back.
Otherwise, really nice work!
Thanks! I will have to revisit that one. As a temporary solution, I imagine scaling up by 15-20% could help with that issue. Thanks for pointing it out.
Great job. But it's hard to print the model. Up to half height everything is going well. But then the rods are too fragile and bend under the influence of the head movement. I think it would be necessary to paint some supports on them.
Double spiral Egg printed fine. Single spiral egg came out with lots of fine filament hairs between the spirals. Even after drying the filament for another 6 hours to ensure it was not moist.
Looks good but not easy to print (with my filament at least - Bambu PLA Copper - AUX fan OFF)
Interesting. Maybe the filament. I didn't have issues with stringing. A quick solution to that is a lighter or heat gun passed quickly over the hairs. They should shrivel into nothing. Granted, not a model fix but it could help in post-processing.
