Description
The influence is a Middle-Eastern poem very dear to me on attaining enlightenment.
Some of the symbolic elements that I have thrown into the mix from some of my reading this summer: the brain's inner view with a maze representing neurons, a pyramid (Middle Eastern and symbol of higher consciousness) whose base is located where the pineal gland is within the brain - rising up higher than the rest of the block to symbolize self-actualization. The bearings rolling around represent neural activity and one's search for meaning in this life until one day, they realize they find everything once they look within - beyond the entrance to the pyramid which metaphorically is the activation of the pineal gland.
