Description

This is a full scale replica of the SpaceX Starship ceramic heat shield tiles. The are attached to the ship white surface down, black surface up. If you print them on a TEXTURED PEI build pate the black top surface is very similar to the actual tiles used on the Starship. The real tiles do not have "SpaceX' on the white side. I added that for fun. Note: Not to be used on an actual Starship as they will melt upon reentry. Enjoy!

just got back from spending the week at ground zero and watching launch 4. I got a piece of a heat shield while there. I found this while searching for an idea to mount piece of shield. btw the back does indeed have just the X on the back of it.

this isn’t full sized, the starship tiles are 9.5 across the short diagonal
