Phone or tablet second screen adapter for laptop - Tested on Macbook Air and Microsoft Surface

Use your phone or tablet together with your laptop as a second screen.

Can be stretched/shortened to fit laptops of different sizes.

Print profiles included.

Differences between versions:

• Macbook version - use this version if you have a laptop with keyboard and thin screens:
  • Fits laptop screens between 290-330mm wide and up to 5mm thick (or thicker if it has rounded edges)
  • Has a cutout for screen on top to fit more stably
  • Fits closer to the screen since there is no “backstand”

• Microsoft surface version - use this version if your laptop/tablet has a wide kickstand at the back or a very thick screen
  • Fits tablets or laptops between 260-300mm wide and up to 9.5mm thick
  • Has cutouts for power/volume buttons (so the buttons are not inadvertently pressed)
  • Can be used with backstand deployed (shorter side guide and positioned further from screen to not interfere with backstand)

If you have a different size laptop, let me know and I can make new versions in other sizes.

Print instructions:

• Tested with 0.4 nozzle.
• Tolerances of 0.2mm are ideal (check with tolerance test), but 0.3mm may work with a little effort.
• Part-(1) needs a small support at the bottom, all other parts can be printed without supports. The support side is not visible when using, so the finishing is not important.
• Brim recommended to avoid warping in long and thin parts unless you have really good bed adhesion.
• Tested with 3 walls and it was strong enough.
