Gridding Ruler - A5 / B6 Slim New Book / TN Standard & TN Passport
Print Profile(1)

Description
Originally, this was a ruling guide I designed for MD Notebook.
Because MD uses the rather special B6 Slim New Book size, it's almost impossible to find a suitable ruling guide on the market, so I simply designed one myself.
Later, I thought it might also help more people, so I
created two sizes: A5, and the commonly used Traveler's Notebook Standard and Passport editions for planners.
If you like using blank page notebooks, this ruler allows you to draw horizontal lines more flexibly, giving blank pages more possibilities.
When designing, I made the ruler with different margins on both the left and right sides. The side with the bevel should face the inside of the book when in use, towards the stitched binding. I deliberately left more space on this side to prevent writing obstruction near the spine, ensuring a comfortable writing experience across the entire page.
The upward-facing bevel side is also the normal printing surface, but when printing, I deliberately inverted the model so that the front adheres to the build plate. This way, after printing, the areas touched by fingers will be smoother and more comfortable. You can also choose build plates with different textures according to your preference to give the ruler different tactile feelings.
Although the model includes some bevels, there's no need to worry about printing difficulty. I have adjusted the tilt angles, so it can be directly printed without any supports.
The overall structural strength is sufficient for daily use without any issues. I recommend printing with PETG for better flexibility and durability.
The current version has a thickness of approximately 2mm. If you prefer a lighter and thinner feel, you can also appropriately compress the Z-axis thickness in the slicer software. However, doing so might affect the overall strength, so you need to weigh it against your own needs.
