Description
Strata — Decorative Vessel
Strata follows a construction principle similar to Slicy: the individual layers that define the object's form are printed separately and then assembled into a single piece. This approach creates a complex layered structure without requiring any print supports.
Assembly
The model is designed to assemble without glue. The parts are intentionally modeled with zero clearance, resulting in a snug friction fit that may require a bit of force during assembly.
If the fit turns out to be looser than expected for any reason, the parts can simply be glued together.
To improve the fit, the included print profile has Elephant's Foot Compensation enabled. If you modify the print settings, it is recommended to keep this option enabled.
Scaling
The model can be scaled if desired—just make sure all parts are scaled by exactly the same factor.
Even at 120%, the complete model still fits on the build plate of the Bambu Lab A1 Mini.
Print Options
The top dish can be printed either using the standard print profile or in Spiral Vase mode for a different appearance.
Color Experiments
Because the vessel is assembled from individually printed layers, it also lends itself to experimenting with color. Try printing selected layers—or even every layer—in different filament colors to create striped, gradient, or other unique visual effects.
