Boat Fender Bracket for Pontoon Boats

This fender hanger clips over the top of a square or rectangular pontoon boat rail. Attach it by tilting it upward, lowering it over the back edge of the rail, then tilting it downward until it snaps into place. Insert the fender line from the bottom, then tie a knot at the desired height.

It works especially well where seats block access to the back of the rail, since the bracket doesn't go all the way around the back.

Customization

The supplied print profile is for 1.25" (32 mm) square rails (used on my Bennington boat) and should fit most fender lines. You can customize the model for different rail and line sizes. The fit must be reasonably accurate for secure retention. If you create a version that fits another rail size, please upload your print profile and describe what it fits.

Print Notes

Print on the side without supports. If you have adhesion issues, add a brim. I used 5 walls, which makes it nearly solid plastic. PETG, PCTG, or ASA are recommended for outdoor use in hot weather.
