40 Slot Acrylic Paint Organizer (Artdeco)

This remix saved our shared workspace! My wife does the hand-painting for our 3D prints, and her desk was in absolute chaos with Amsterdam, Cadence, and Artdeco bottles rolling everywhere. Since I couldn't find a suitable rack on the market, I remixed this model to perfectly fit her paint arsenal. It completely cleared the clutter! The rack is 45mm high to save filament while remaining sturdy.

This model is a remix and customization inspired by the work of ArsoN. Huge thanks to the original designer for the great concept!

I customized this organizer to create a practical storage solution for large acrylic paint bottles. Please note that this model was built completely around my personal preferences and specific needs. This is my very first model upload here, so please excuse any minor flaws or imperfections. I hope it helps you organize your creative workspace too! :)

⚠️ IMPORTANT: MEASURE YOUR BOTTLES BEFORE PRINTING! (Avoid Wasting 600-700g of Filament)

This is a large print that consumes around 600–700 grams of filament. To avoid disappointment and wasted material, please measure your paint bottles before starting the print:

• Square Slot Width: 42 x 42 mm (If your bottles are larger than 42mm, they will not fit. If they are significantly smaller, they might wobble or sit unevenly).
• Back Round Hole Diameter: 34 mm (The back holes are 34mm wide. If the body or cap of your bottle is smaller than 34mm, the bottle will slide right through and fall out!)
• Tested & Verified Brands: This model was precisely dimensioned and tested for Amsterdam 120ml, Artdeco 140ml, and Cadence 120ml acrylic paint bottles.
• The height/depth of the rack is 45mm. While it runs a bit short for the Art Deco bottles, it still holds them securely and does the job perfectly. I deliberately chose not to increase the wall thickness because doing so significantly increases the filament consumption. Keeping it this way saves material while remaining perfectly sturdy.
• Amsterdam 120ml (Body: 40mm / Cap: 40mm)
• Art Deco 140ml (Body: 38-39mm / Cap: 28mm)
• Cadence 120ml (Body: 42mm / Cap: 32.5mm)

Other Design & Printing Notes:

• Capacity: Features a 5x8 grid, neatly organizing up to 40 paint bottles in total.
• Custom Leg Angle (Different from Original): I redesigned the support legs with a custom angle to suit my own desk view and stability needs. The tilt angle is different from the original model, so please check the photos to see if it fits your workspace setup.
• Bottle Placement & Caps: The slots are designed so that the main body of the bottles sits inside, while the cap sections protrude from the back. Please pay attention to this clearance when placing the rack against a wall or tight space.
• Main Body Assembly (No Glue Needed): The main body is split into Parts A and B. They are designed with a tight, press-fit tolerance. I highly recommend NOT using glue for the main body, as the tight fit might cause excess glue to squeeze out during assembly.
• Support Legs: While the body snaps together tightly, you will still need to use a bit of glue to secure the custom support legs to the base.
• Print Settings: To ensure the rack safely carries the weight of 40 full paint bottles, I recommend printing with 3 or 4 wall loops and an infill of at least 15%–20% for good structural strength.
