Decking Furniture Anchors
Print Profile(1)

Description

Keep your patio furniture from blowing away — no screws, no drilling, no damage to your deck.
Decking Furniture Anchors are a simple two-part anchor that locks onto wooden deck boards using nothing but friction and geometry. Slide the anchor down through the gap between two boards, rotate it 90°, then push the ribbed wedge onto the shank to lock it in place against the underside of the boards. From there, zip-tie or tie down your furniture leg to the anchor — the more attachment points you use, the more secure your furniture will be in a storm.
Why it works:
- No damage — nothing is screwed or glued to your deck. Pull the wedge off and lift the anchor out when you don't need it anymore
- Two-part, no supports — both pieces print flat on the bed, fast and cheap
- Self-locking wedge — the ribbed surface bites into place once pushed home, and won't back out under load
- Simple assembly — just the two printed parts plus zip ties or cord, no tools, no hardware to lose
How to use it:
- Slide the anchor down through the gap between two deck boards
- Rotate it 90° so it sits crosswise against the underside of the boards
- Push the ribbed wedge onto the shank on top of the deck to lock the anchor in place
- Zip-tie or tie down your furniture leg to the anchor — use as many anchor points as you can for the best hold
Fit: the standard files are sized for deck boards around 26 mm thick with a ~5 mm gap between them. If your decking doesn't match the thickness use the Customize button on MakerWorld to generate a version that fits your boards exactly.
Print settings: PETG or ASA recommended for outdoor durability (PLA becomes brittle in sun and frost). No supports needed, print flat as oriented. 100% infill or 4+ perimeters for max strength — this part takes real load.
