"Athenian Jump" Medal Se -Gold, Silver, Bronze

Design Concept:

The central motif of each medal is a relief of a jumping Athenian boy. This figure is inspired by classical ancient Greek art, specifically the kouros statues of young athletes. The figure is captured in a dynamic phase of the long jump (an event in the ancient pentathlon), symbolizing determination, strength, and the pursuit of reaching the pinnacle.

Key Features:

• Three-Place Set: The download includes models for first (gold), second (silver), and third (bronze) place.
• Detailed Relief: The central jumper figure and the large numbers (1, 2, 3) are rendered in raised relief, adding depth and a premium feel to the medal.
• Aesthetic Border: The perimeter of the medal is adorned with a delicate rope-like pattern that frames the entire composition.
• Practical Detail: The top of the medal features an integrated loop for easy threading of a ribbon.
• Print Texture: The entire medal surface has a fine, concentric 3D print texture, giving it a unique character.

Print Settings and Material:

• Material: For an authentic, metallic look, I highly recommend using silk PLA filament.
  • For 1st Place: Silk Gold PLA
  • For 2nd Place: Silk Silver PLA
  • For 3rd Place: Silk Bronze PLA
• Settings: The printer should be set for a standard, finer print (e.g., 0.08mm or 0.10 mm layer height) to ensure clean details on the relief. No supports are needed.
• Color Change: To highlight the relief, you can use a filament swap technique during printing. Print with the main color first (gold/silver/bronze filament) and then switch to the second color once the relief layer is reached.
