Boost Me (for free)

I'm like, the coolest kid on my block, so gimme a boost I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ladies and gentlemen. Standing in the right corner of the ring weighing in at a solid 240g* Shooting up to speeds of 150fps,** and using ANY, yes ANY, form of ammunition in the game! We have the CLARKISON XL! Capable at smashing through your own sanity, and destroying any sense of what functional is.

*Depends on how much infill you do                 **Depends on what shell you use

This blaster was made in the fiery depths of misconception. As I was gifted a YEHW hardware kit, and then scoured the internet trying to find the best YEHW thing around. After YEARS (minuets) I had found it. THE GREYSON XL! It was all I've ever dreamed of, so I shipped the files straight to my A1 mini. As they were all finished I realized a critical flaw in Point No Point's model. It cut down the plunger tube by 13mm! WHY?

So instead of just cuting down my plunger tube I went head first into tinker CAD and after about a week or so, I had finished shaping up all the models to a 13mm longer. After some tests and cronographing I can't really tell if I sacrificed and speed but it still shoots exceptionally hard.

Sillyshells

I have no idea what shells work the best and which don't. My personal findings found that a sniper shell with to long of a barrel don't work very good at all, though with the "full dart barrels," included in the kit, work extremely spectacular. Shotgun or buckshot shells are unreliable. Sometimes they work fine other times they go less than a demolisher rocket. Oddly enough, the 3x elite shell works incredibly. If you leave a comment on how your findings with different shells work that would help me update this project. I stick mainly with my small sniper shells and bottlenose shells when it comes to planking.

Hardware

I used the YEHW kit from silverfoxindustries, https://silverfoxindustries.shop/products/captain-slug-yehw-hardware-kit?_pos=1&_sid=739145cbc&_ss=r

Hardware needed (included in YEHW HW kits):

Other hardware for the Clarkison

  • Optional ejector spring, ball point spring or something
  • Optional O-ring for a better seal on the silly shells

Instructions

It's really easy to build if you have made a YEHW like blaster.

IF NOT: Then go here, https://captainslug.com/nerf/YEHWAssembly1.pdf. It's very straight forward with how everything fits together. All you need to do for your trigger to work is get the elastic cord thru the grip and in the trigger tight enough so it springs back, If you have the screws that go into the trigger to tight then the elastic doesn't work very well.

I had plenty of leftover screws and nylon spacers so don't worry about having extras.
