Functional 3D-Printed 4-Digit Padlock (Fidget & Puzzle Toy)

This is a fully functional, 3D-printable 4-digit padlock designed as a fun mechanical puzzle, fidget toy, or brainteaser. It features an internal gear system where the outer number wheels turn the inner code wheels. When the correct 4-digit combination is aligned, the cutouts in the inner wheels line up perfectly to release the shackle!

Key Features:

• Customizable Combination: Easily change your 4-digit passcode at any time by simply removing the outer number wheels and repositioning them.
• Anti-Cheat Design: The top of the lock is equipped with a visual shield/barrier, preventing anyone from peeking inside the holes to cheat the code.
• Upgradable Difficulty: Want a harder challenge? Swap out the standard inner wheels for "false gate" versions to make decoding and picking the lock significantly more difficult.

Print Settings & Recommendations:

This model is designed to print smoothly on modern printers like Bambu Lab machines.

• Material: PLA works perfectly (but other materials like PETG are also fine).
• Resolution / Layer Height: 0.2 mm.
• Infill: 20% – 25%.
• Supports: Required/optional. The supports are relatively easy to remove, (main padlock body can be printed with supports to improve quality, but it's slightly difficult to remove them from inside the object)
• Other Settings: Standard profiles will work great. Feel free to adjust walls and top/bottom layers to your personal preference.
