Achilles with Raised Spear is my interpretation of the legendary hero of Homer’s Iliad, captured in the tense instant before an attack. The raised spear, forward shield, wide stance, and crested helmet create a powerful silhouette from every angle.
Created for the Epic Poems contest, this figure transforms one of the Iliad’s most iconic warriors into a compact display model. At 109 mm tall, it fits naturally on a bookshelf, desk, or collector’s display without taking over the space.
The model has been successfully test-printed on an FDM printer, and the listing includes photos of the real print. The relief on the shield, helmet, armor, and body remains clearly visible at this size. The spear, helmet crest, and shield rim are fine details, so handle them carefully when removing the print and during cleanup.
