Description
I designed this cap for the SRAM Truvativ Descendant crankset because I couldn't find a simple solution to protect the thread when the crank arm is installed. It fits easily and helps prevent dust, dirt, and debris from accumulating in the thread, making maintenance easier over time. Printed in PLA while waiting for ABS to arrive, but I think I'll keep it in PLA. Tested for about 250 km on asphalt, gravel, and singletrack, and it stayed in place without moving or getting damaged. Calculated to a tenth of a millimeter to fit without coming out, I recommend a bit of grease to insert it.
