Description

"The dark side has its own adorable droid." – Meet the evil twin of BB-8.

This 3D-printable model captures BB-9E, the menacing astromech droid in the service of the First Order, first introduced in Star Wars: The Last Jedi . Unlike the friendly BB-8, this dark counterpart features a sleek black body with silver and grey accents, a distinctive flat, square-domed head, and a glowing red optical sensor designed to evoke the cold, calculating feel of the First Order .

BB-9E served aboard Supreme Leader Snoke's flagship, the Supremacy, where it performed maintenance duties and patrolled for intruders . Its design – including a head inspired by the "malignant" HAL 9000 – gives it a cold, authoritative, and genuinely intimidating presence .

Model Features:

  • Faithful recreation of BB-9E's distinctive dark black and silver design
  • Unique flat domed head with red sensor and blue/red lights
  • Clean, printable geometry optimized for both FDM and resin printers
  • Perfect for Star Wars fans, First Order collectors, or anyone who wants the dark counterpart to BB-8

Printing Tips:

  • Supports recommended under the head and any overhanging details
  • Layer height: 0.12–0.2 mm for sharp, crisp details
  • For best results, use black and silver filament, or print and paint afterward
  • Recommended height: 10–15 cm

"The First Order's rolling menace has arrived." 🖤⚫
