Description

Apeks XTX (2006-2012) Flow/No-Flow gauge tool, for purge cover with oval shaped purge button

This is a Flow/No-Flow gauge tool for tuning the 2006-2012 Apeks XTX series regulators (XTX 20/40/50/100/200) with the OVAL SHAPED purge button. I've created this based on measurements from the original factory tool, part number AT20.

For simple printing I have split the original two-sided single piece design into two separate pieces: Flow and No-Flow, marked as print profile V1. This is the simpliest/quickest print version, if you'd like them to be one piece you can simply glue them together back-to-back. Alternatively, you can print V2 which has thicker bases and are joined together with a square peg to restore the one piece design, no glue required. See pictures, the bright orange pieces are my designs, the black tool is the original Apeks AT20 tool and is shown for comparison only. I recommend using Variable Layer Height (Adaptive) to make the top curved surfaces smoother, already enabled in the 3MF file. I printed in PETG but there's probably no reason you can't print in PLA.

Note: this does not work with the later XTX second stages (2013 to present) with the larger bowtie shaped purge button, or the older AT/ATX purge covers with a round purge button. See picture for comparison of the purge covers on the two XTX generations.
