Benelli TRK 702 Cruise Control (Kaoko)
Print Profile(1)

Description
I designed this mechanical cruise control specifically for the Benelli TRK 702, ideal for resting your wrist during long rides
The design is intended to be a clean and essential alternative: it directly replaces the original handlebar end weight (balancer), integrating perfectly with the bike's lines
Safety was the priority during design. The mechanism maintains cruising speed, but it is structured so that if you need to decelerate suddenly, a very slight reverse pressure on the throttle grip instantly and smoothly disengages the accelerator
⚙️ Print settings (VERY IMPORTANT):
- Infill: 100%. It is absolutely crucial to print the part completely solid. This is to give the part the greatest possible weight, compensating for the mass of the original metal handlebar end weight to limit handlebar vibrations
- Recommended material: PETG, ASA, or ABS are strongly recommended. As this is a motorcycle component exposed to sun and weather, I advise against PLA, which could deform with summer heat
- Supports: Set only from build plate and support critical areas only. (already present in the print profile)
Tested and successfully printed on Bambu Lab P1S.
⚠️ Safety disclaimer: This is a DIY project. Installation and use are at your own risk. Before setting off, always perform static and low-speed tests to ensure the accelerator releases smoothly and without any hitches. Have a good trip!
