THE MODEL :

Elevate your botanical prints, classical portraits, or custom mirrors with this magnificent Baroque and Rococo-inspired wall frame. Standing out with its elegant oval silhouette, this unique three-dimensional model features a dramatic top pediment beautifully sculpted with a stylized palmette crown. The lower base is anchored by a finely detailed, high-relief rosette flourish, while the outer border is wrapped in a symmetrical layout of sweeping scrolls and fluid moldings. It is the ultimate statement frame to bring a stately, private gallery atmosphere to your home, looking exceptionally striking above entryway consoles, inside a sophisticated boudoir, or as a central focus on a Dark Academia gallery wall.

Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The clean lines of the top crown, the deep grooves of the lower rosette, and the structural frame layout were successfully verified using matte black PLA, as displayed in the file Gemini_Generated_Image_jvxrrsjvxrrsjvxr.png.

• Infill: Printed between 5% to 8% for a lightweight decorative wall setup holding standard paper artwork. Slicing Pro-Tip: Because this model features a slender profile along its oval sides, if you plan to back it with a heavy glass pane or a solid custom mirror, we suggest boosting the infill rate to 15-20% and running 4 wall loops (perimeters) to secure maximum structural stiffness.
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Supports: Light tree supports are highly required beneath the overhanging crown details and under the deepest outer scroll segments for a flawless surface finish.

Sizing Information: The frame's dimensions are proportioned to deliver an elongated, elegant silhouette that pairs beautifully with other vintage frames. Please feel free to freely resize the model inside your slicing software to perfectly custom-tailor the inner oval opening to the exact measurements of your artwork or mirror.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
