# Front Light Bar for Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Lite

A rigid bolt-on mount that adds a **33 mm accessory crossbar in front of the stem** of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Lite (model BHR08R6GL). It bolts straight into the **two factory M6 threaded holes** on the left side of the stem — no hose clamps, no zip ties, no drilling, and it doesn't interfere with folding.

The bar sits at bolt height, parallel to the handlebar, so any light mounted on it points straight ahead.

## Features
- Uses the stock M6 holes in the stem (6 mm holes, 15 mm center-to-center) — clean OEM-like install
- Cradle is shaped to the Ø45 mm stem with ~90° wrap for a rock-solid, no-twist fit
- Crossbar: **Ø33 mm × 80 mm**, 5 mm wall, hollow Ø23 mm channel (weight saving + room for cable routing)
- 8 mm clearance behind the bar — rubber straps and clamp-style mounts wrap around freely
- Two clamping zones (~36 mm and ~30 mm) — fits two lights, or a light + bell/GoPro strap mount
- Bolt heads sit recessed in counterbores
- Weight: ~65 g in PETG

## Hardware needed
- 2× **M6×10** (or M6×12) socket head cap screws, DIN 912 / ISO 4762
- 5 mm hex key
- Optional: medium threadlocker (blue)

## Installation
1. Remove the stock screws / covers from the two M6 holes on the left side of the stem (if present).
2. Slide the mount onto the stem from the left so the cradle sits flush.
3. Insert both M6 screws through the counterbored holes and tighten gradually, alternating between them. Moderate torque (~4–5 Nm) — the screws thread into the steel stem, the printed part is only clamped.
4. Mount your lights on the crossbar and re-check tightness after the first ride.

## Print settings (see attached profile)
- Material: **PETG** (or ASA/ABS if the scooter lives outside in the sun; PLA not recommended — creeps under bolt load and softens in summer heat)
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Walls: **5–6 perimeters**
- Infill: 40 % gyroid
- Supports: **on (tree/organic, everywhere)** — print the part upside down with the flat top face of the clamp on the bed; the bar prints on supports
- No brim needed on textured PEI; add brim if you see poor bed contact

## Important
- Verify your scooter before printing: this fits the **Electric Scooter 6 Lite (BHR08R6GL)** — stem Ø45 mm with two M6 holes spaced 15 mm center-to-center on the left side. Other Xiaomi models have different hole positions.
- Check screw tightness periodically. Don't hang heavy objects (bags, phone mounts with large phones) on the bar — it's designed for lights and small accessories.
