Half Life Alyx Resin

When Half Life Alyx came out, I knew I had to design the resin from the game. I love how the resins in the game were always different and some were half used up so this design takes that into consideration.

It prints in 3 parts:

The main resin centre (the white bit). I recommend printing it in glow in the dark filament though for the best effect.

Top shell (in black).

Bottom shell (in black).

Print both the shell parts together and then the main resin body separate.

The main resin body has adaptive layer heights on also.

The shells have very thin walls so be careful they don't break but they don't take much filament.

Check the pictures for the orientation I have the shells in but otherwise feel free to choose your own. They top and bottom will match up to each other though.

I then use a little superglue to glue the shells to the resin and it's all done :-)
