Typhoon Class Submarine 1:350

I actually wanted to upload this on friday. Today its Monday. Yet I decided to publish this “Boat” earlier to honor Sam Neill who played Red Octobers XO Vasili Borodin in The Hunt for Red October (and of course in honor of Sean Connery, one of the greatest actors of all time).

The Typhoon class (Project 941 Akula) is the largest submarine ever built and one of the most iconic symbols of the Cold War.

Designed as a nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine (SSBN), the Typhoon combined immense size with exceptional endurance and survivability. Its distinctive twin-pressure-hull design and massive missile compartment made it unlike any other submarine ever constructed.

The class gained worldwide recognition through Tom Clancy's novel and the film The Hunt for Red October, becoming one of the most recognizable submarines in naval history.

This detailed 1:350 scale model faithfully captures the unique proportions and unmistakable silhouette of the legendary Typhoon class.

Assembly is very easy. Stick the two parts together and put them on the socket. Only thing actually requiring glue is the label which should be glued to the socket.

Printing recommendations

You can use the standard 0.2mm preset.

Support is required for most parts.

Hull parts are be too large for smaller printers, but everything should be downscalable if you want to.
