Description

So, my original lenses was genning cracked up, and my Camaro is not an original car, it's full of mods, and no chrome.

So I made some custom taillight lenses.

I printet the bezel in PETG-CF because of the nice finish.  The lens itself was printed in smoke/dark translucent PETG.  Most setting was the setting bambu thinks fits, anyways, because we dont want them clear. Just make sure infill is 100% on the lens and the groves are down on the PEI. use NO support.

however support is needed to get a nice surface in the bezel, i use PLA.

Many thinks these lenses are round. They are not. it is a couple of millimeters differens, atleast on my car with original tailight, (i scanned them)

Testfit the lens in the bezel. you Will have to rotate them to find the best fit. Mark how they fot best before you glue them together.

You COULD make these in 1 piece, but it would take alot of time, so i prefer to glue them.

Reuse original rubber seal anf taillight housing.

This is the LEFT OUTER lens. with Slight mod you can use this on and placement. Thats what i do.

you MUST use colored buls when using this lens.  I use BAY15d RED LED from AliExpress. (i just have to make the turnsignal work with LED tho..)

These lenses may not be legal to use in your country, obey the law ;)
