  1. The main body (including the pivot) is printed as a single, movable piece – no assembly, no screws, no springs. Just take it off the plate and it's ready to go.

     

  2. To give you extra grip, the plier heads accept soft TPU tips that are printed separately and snapped in afterwards – no AMS required.

  3. Gentle on Your Build Plate – The plastic contact points and TPU pads are much softer than metal tools. Using this plier also keeps your hands and skin oils away from the plate, preserving adhesion for future prints.

  4. If the pivot feels stiff after printing, simply squeeze the pliers closed firmly (you may hear a slight pop), then open and close them a few times – it will break free and move smoothly.

  5. No TPU? Print the tips in PLA/PETG, wrap with grip tape, and snap them in – works fine.
