Description
This model is an add-on for the following design:

Since the Logitech RS Shifter cannot be mounted directly to the original bracket, I designed a dedicated mounting plate for the RS Shifter.
I also designed a reinforcement bracket that attaches to the screw holes underneath the seat.
Shifting into 7th gear and reverse requires more force, and relying only on the original clamp may cause it to loosen over time.
The bracket also includes mounting holes for a handbrake. I am using an inexpensive unbranded USB handbrake.
Notes:
My Playseat Challenge X is set to the third recline position. If your seat is set to a different position, the reinforcement bracket may not fit properly.
I installed the bracket on the lower seat frame rather than on the upper armrest area shown by the original designer. Please refer to the photos.
Because of this, you will need to reverse the left and right versions when printing the original bracket. For example, if you plan to install it on the right side, select the right-hand-drive version.
- When installing the mounting plate, make sure the side with the hexagonal nut pockets faces upward. Insert the screws from the underside and tighten them into the nuts.
This model requires the following hardware:
- 4 × M4 × 20 mm screws
- 4 × M4 nuts
- 2 × M6 × 25 mm screws (the original screws included with the Playseat Challenge X can be used)
- 1 × M8 × 70 mm screw
- 1 × M8 nut
