Ultimate Print-In-Place PCB Vise & Grip

Tired of burning your fingers while soldering or struggling to hold your circuit boards steady? Meet the Ultimate Edition V7 of the PCB Hook & Grip. This is a fully functional, highly engineered Print-In-Place mechanical vise designed specifically for makers.

Key Features:

  • Print-In-Place Dovetail: Engineered with a precision 0.3mm clearance. It prints as a single assembly and glides smoothly right off the build plate.
  • Perfect Grip: Features specialized V-grooves exactly positioned at 30mm height to perfectly grip standard 1.6mm thick PCBs (Optimized for Arduino Uno R3 DIP boards).
  • Tension System: Features side teardrop pegs designed to hold a standard rubber band, providing automatic clamping tension.
  • Flush End-Stop Pin: A built-in functional stop pin ensures the sliding jaw stops perfectly flush with the 130mm track base.
  • AMS Ready: Separated into distinct Base and Slider bodies for incredibly easy dual-color printing (like the Grey/Orange or Blue/Orange seen in the photos!).

Printing Instructions:

  • Layer Height: 0.2mm (Standard)
  • Infill: 15% - 20% Gyroid or Grid
  • Supports: tree slim.
  • Adhesion: Skirt is fine, no brim needed unless you have adhesion issues.

Assembly:

  1. Pop it off the build plate.
  2. Slide the jaw a few times to loosen the 0.3mm tolerance gap.
  3. Hook a standard rubber band across the two side pegs.
  4. Clamp your Arduino and get to work!
